Our national men’s volleyball team achieved its second victory in the Second West Asian Championship, after defeating its Kuwaiti counterpart with a score of (3-0), in the first group competitions of the tournament currently being held in the Omani capital, Muscat.
This victory comes as our team continues its strong journey in the tournament, within the first group competitions, which also includes the teams of Syria and Kuwait, where the league system is applied with one round in each group, with the first and second places qualifying to the semi-finals.
The second edition of the tournament will witness the participation of seven teams: Qatar, Kuwait, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and the host Sultanate of Oman, while competitions continue in the hall of the Sultan Qaboos bin Said Complex in Muscat.
The Qatari fans are waiting for our team to continue its journey in the next rounds of the tournament, in an effort to continue the positive results and qualify for the semi-finals.
