Samsung revealed a group of new products during its annual summer event held in London. The products included three foldable phones, as well as the new generation of its smart watches and smart glasses for the first time, according to a report by the American technical website “The Verge.”
The company also presented for the first time a new category of foldable phones under the name “Galaxy Z Fold Ultra,” in addition to a foldable phone with new square dimensions similar to the foldable “Pixel Fold” that Google had previously presented.
The dimensions of the new phone are the star of the ceremony held by the company yesterday, as the “Galaxy Z Fold 8” phone was shorter and wider than previous generations, while Samsung left the traditional dimensions of its foldable phones for the new “Ultra” category, which means that what is new is in the regular phone and not the Ultra model.
Foldable phones stole the attention of users because the company was able to remove the gap in the middle of the screen that had haunted foldable phones since their first appearance, making the screens of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 devices the first screen to come without a clear divider in the middle.
