Annabi junior handball team wins over its Iranian counterpart in the Asian Championship

The Qatari junior handball team continued its victories in the 11th Asian Championship for juniors under 19 years, which is currently being held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, and will continue until August 31, after achieving its third successive victory at the expense of its Iranian counterpart, with a score of (24-22), today, in the third round of the second group.

The Qatari team’s victory came after a strong and competitive match, where it succeeded in imposing its style and dealt well with the course of the match, benefiting from tactical discipline, offensive effectiveness and defensive cohesion, to resolve the confrontation by two goals.

The Qatari team had begun its tournament by defeating the Saudi team with a score of (30-22) in the first round, before defeating its Kuwaiti counterpart with a score of (30-19) in the second round, continuing its positive results and achieving its third victory in a row.

The Qatari team raised its score to six points, at the top of the Group Two standings, and is looking forward to achieving the full score when it faces its Syrian counterpart tomorrow (Monday) at the end of its group stage matches.
