Al Shaqab Sports Club announced the conclusion of sponsorship and partnership agreements with a number of institutions and companies, in preparation for the 2026-2027 sports season, during which the team will compete in the QSL3 League, amid rising ambitions to continue developing and competing all the way to the QSL2 and then the Stars League.
This came during the press conference held by the club on the occasion of the signing of the contract of its new coach, national coach Rashid Hamad Sobeih, and the signing of sponsorship and partnership agreements, in the presence of Mubarak Hamad Mubarak Al Najm, President of Al Shaqab Sports Club, and a number of club officials and representatives of sponsors and partners. The new agreements come within the framework of the club’s strategy aimed at enhancing its resources and supporting its sports project, in addition to building sustainable partnerships with government and private sector institutions, in a way that serves the club’s sports and community goals. The list of new sponsors and partners included: Qatar International Islamic Bank, Baladna, Q-Shield, Qatar Sports for All Federation, Smart Gym, Margens, Baladna Company, Marble Medical Center, Tamouh for Community Development, and Aseel Water Company.
The event witnessed a ceremony for signing agreements and honoring representatives of sponsors and partners, in the presence of the club president, while Engineer Mohamed Gad, founding partner and club manager, completed the signing ceremony of a number of partnership agreements, representing Al Shaqab Sports Club.
Al Najm: Our ambition is great
Mubarak Hamad Mubarak Al Najm, President of Al Shaqab Sports Club, confirmed that the new partnerships represent the result of continuous work since the club’s founding in 2018, stressing that the club has great ambitions for the future.
Al Najm said: “We are happy with the new partnerships of Al Shaqab Club, and they are not the result of today, but rather the result of work since 2018, when the club was founded, and through these fruitful partnerships we seek to meet the ambitions in the new season.”
He added: “We are now participating in the QSL3 League, and our goal is to play in the QSL2 and then the Stars League. The ambition is great and the work continues thanks to everyone’s efforts.”
He continued: “The team is ready and we will strive to give our best in the league.”
Rashid Sobeih: We will appear in the best way
Rashid Sobeih, Al Shaqab coach, expressed his happiness at signing with the club and leading the team during the new season, stressing that the ambition is to present a distinguished season and appear in the best way.
The coach stressed that the team will work during the next stage to prepare well for the competitions, and to provide a level that reflects the club’s ambitions, in light of the desire to achieve positive results during the new season.
