The conclusion of the Asian Weightlifting Championships in Doha

The Asian Weightlifting Championship for male and female, male and female, concluded this evening, the first of three championships organized by the Qatar Weightlifting Federation, which took place over six consecutive days.

The Indian Jyushina Sabar won the award for the best female weightlifter in the tournament for young women, while the Vietnamese Qi Diong won the award for the best weightlifter for the youth category, and Chen Guanling from Chinese Taipei won the award for the best weightlifter for the female category, while the Turkmen weightlifter Mayakub Shahzadbek won the title of the best weightlifter for the junior category.

Saudi Arabia won the award for the best team at the youth level, ahead of Vietnam second and Uzbekistan third, while Iran won the award for the best team at the junior level, ahead of Uzbekistan second and Saudi Arabia third, while Kazakhstan collected the awards for the best team at the youth level for young women and girls.

The closing day witnessed strong competitions. In the weight category of over 87 kg for young women, South Korean weightlifter Hybin Yu won three gold medals, in total, with a total weight of 231 kg, in the sprint, after she lifted a weight of 130 kg, and in the snatch, after she lifted a weight of 101 kg. Meanwhile, Indian Maibam Martima Devi won two silver medals in total, with a total weight of 225 kg. In the sprint, after she lifted a weight of 129 kg, and a bronze medal in the snatch, after she lifted a weight of 96 kg, while Vietnamese Tran Thi Hien won two bronze medals in total, with a total weight of 220 kg, and in the snatch, after she lifted a weight of 126 kg, and finally, Iranian Sarah Safaverdi won a medal. Silver in the snatch after lifting a weight of 97 kg.

In the weight category of more than 81 kg for junior women, South Korean weightlifter Hyun Lee won three gold medals, in total, with a total weight of 227 kg, and in the sprint, after lifting a weight of 130 kg, and in the snatch, after lifting a weight of 97 kg, while Vietnamese weightlifter Tran Thi She won three silver medals in total, with a total weight of 220 kg, and in the women’s hurdles after she lifted a weight of 220 kg. 126 kg, and in the snatch, after she lifted a weight of 94 kg, while Su Sheng Si from Chinese Taipei won two bronze medals in total, with a total weight of 207 kg, and in the sprint, after she lifted a weight of 122 kg, and finally, the Iranian weightlifter, Seyedeh Masoumeh Hosseini, won a bronze medal in Snatching after lifting a weight of 86 kg.

As for the weight category above 109 kg, the Iraqi weightlifter, Ali Ammar Yusser, won three gold medals, in total, with a total weight of 406 kg, and in the sprint, after lifting a weight of 226 kg, and in the snatch, after lifting a weight of 180 kg, while the Iranian Hameed won. Reza Mohammadi won three silver medals, in total, with a total weight of 402 kg, and in the freestyle after lifting a weight of 402 kg. 225 kg, and in the snatch, after lifting a weight of 177 kg, while Uzbekistan Olim Omadillo won three bronze medals, in total, with a total weight of 361 kg, and in the snatch, after lifting a weight of 205 kg, and in the snatch, after lifting a weight of 156 kg.

Finally, in the over 102 kg competition for the junior category, Uzbek weightlifter Olim Omadillo won three gold medals, in total with a total weight of 361 kg, in the sprint after lifting a weight of 205 kg, and in the snatch after lifting a weight of 156 kg, while Ki Guan achieved Ting of Chinese Taipei three silver medals, in total with a total weight of 336 kg, and in the sprint, after lifting a weight of 193 kg, and in the snatch, after lifting a weight of 143 kg, while Kazakhstani Samargan Saginbek won three bronze medals, in total, with a total weight of 324 kg, and in the snatch, after lifting a weight of 182 kg, and in the snatch.
