The first day of the first Arab mini football forum in Riyadh witnessed a great success in the presence of a group of officials and athletes from various Arab and international countries. The activities of the forum opened yesterday, Monday, February 24, 2025, under the supervision of the Saudi Ministry of Sports in the conference hall of Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex, where discussions focused on promoting the spread of mini football sport in the Arab world.
At the extraordinary meeting of the association held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, the Egyptian Ahmed Samir’s victory was announced in the position of Vice President of the International Football Association (IMF). This victory is an important step towards strengthening the role of Arab countries in managing and developing the game globally.
Abdulaziz Al -Anzi, Secretary -General of the Arab Olympic Committees, praised the Kingdom’s efforts led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman in supporting and developing sports at all levels.

During the activities of the forum, the achievements of the International Federation have been reviewed since its establishment in March 2023 in Türkiye, where it was officially registered in the American city of Chicago. Among his most prominent achievements is the organization of the first World Cup in Türkiye in 2023, which witnessed the crowning of the Russian team by the title after its victory over the Libya team in the final.
The upcoming missions of the International Football Association
The International Football Association announced its agenda for the upcoming tournaments, which includes:
The Women’s World Championship, which will be held in Erbil, Kurdistan, and will be set later.
The U -15 World Championship, which will be held in the Algerian city of Oran during the month of July 2025.
The Arab Championship, which will be hosted by the Omani city of Salalah, to be set at a later time.
The Gulf Cup, which will be held in the Qatari capital, Doha, next Ramadan.
Honoring Dr. Mohamed Al -Dossary with the Medal of Excellence
At the end of the activities of the first day, Dr. Mohamed Al -Dossari was honored with the Order of Excellence in appreciation of his great efforts in developing mini -football globally, as he succeeded in leading the International Federation and attracting many countries to join under his umbrella.
The success of the forum is expected to continue on the second day, as discussions will continue on the mechanisms of developing the game and enhance Arab cooperation in this field. More partnerships and initiatives will also be announced to support mini football and expand their global scope.
