Adobe, the leading graphics and animation software company, today announced the introduction of new artificial intelligence features to its popular programs, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Adobe said on its official blog that it has added several AI-based features to Illustrator and Photoshop, with a new way to create and edit using AI.
According to Adobe, these new features will help “accelerate daily creative workflows and provide more control to creators.”
For Illustrator, Adobe offers “Generative Shape Fill,” which allows users to apply detailed vectors to a shape simply by entering text commands into the tab.
Users can use other elements in the same document as the basis for filling the new shape, and everything created by /Generative Shape Fill/ will be customized so users can edit the content.
The company also noted the availability of a new feature /Mockup/, which helps visualize the final result of placing graphics on real objects, such as clothing or packaging. With one click, /Illustrator/ analyzes the object and applies your message to the object according to the correct dimensions.
This update also comes with a feature that enables you to easily detect the type of characters from a vector or image and modify or replace them, as well as easily create a fully editable background for projects.
As for Photoshop, Adobe has made it smarter with features like box template selection and editing tools to help with workflows that involve repetitive tasks, some improvements to the type tool and the tour mapping program, and an update from Adobe Firefly to create user content and projects via “artificial intelligence.”
Adobe noted that users will not be able to use its artificial intelligence in their projects unless they agree to share it on Adobe Stock.
