Our national volleyball team organized daily training at the Federation Hall in preparation for participation in the first Arab Championship for juniors under 17 years of age, which will be held in Jordan next July. The team’s training is supervised by the technical staff, led by Argentine Lux Nicolas, and includes daily exercises to raise the level of physical fitness and implement tactical sentences with the participation of approximately 14 players who were selected for the open internal camp that precedes the delegation’s travel to the Jordanian capital, Amman. Our volleyball team will begin its tournament campaign against its Jordanian counterpart on July 3, while it will play its second match in the tournament against its Libyan counterpart on July 4. It is noteworthy that the tournament witnesses the participation of 7 countries: (Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iraq, Libya and Jordan), and the Arab Volleyball Federation conducted the draw for the tournament via video communication. The tournament will be held in a single-round league system in the first stage, with the top four teams qualifying directly to the semi-finals.
