Issuing treasury bills and bonds worth 2.5 billion riyals

The Qatar Central Bank issued treasury bills and Islamic sukuks with various maturities of 7 days, 35 days, 98 days, 189 days, 245 days, and 360 days, with a value of 2.5 billion riyals.
Qatar Central Bank stated in a post on the social networking site “X” yesterday that the treasury bills issues were distributed as follows: 300 million riyals for a period of 7 days (new issue), 500 million riyals for a period of 35 days (addition to an existing issue), 500 million riyals for a period of 98 days (addition to an existing issue), 500 million riyals for a period of 189 days (addition to an existing issue), 500 million riyals for a period of 245 days (addition to an existing issue), and 200 million riyals for a period of 360 days (new issue).
The total private bids for treasury bills and Islamic bonds amounted to 7.4 billion riyals.
