China was able to recover the Shijian-19 test satellite, which is the first reusable and recoverable satellite, which landed at the Dongfeng site in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the north of the country yesterday morning.

The Chinese space agency said that all recoverable lunar payloads in areas such as plant breeding, microorganisms, self-control, new technology validation, space science experiments, as well as social welfare and cultural innovation have been recovered smoothly.

The agency said that the satellite, which was launched on September 27, achieved success in a number of technological tests, as the flight tested key technologies, including the ability to reuse and return without damage, a high degree of microgravity assurance, and verification of the technical indicators of the new generation. The high-performance, returnable and reusable space test rigs achieved all expected test results.

The Shijian-19 satellite is an effective space testing platform for microgravity levels, which supports research in microgravity sciences and space life sciences.
