English club Newcastle announced today the signing of young Danish striker William Osula, coming from Sheffield United.
Osula, 21, made 21 appearances for Sheffield in the Premier League last season, before the team was relegated to the first division.
The Danish striker began his career with FC Copenhagen, before moving to Sheffield United in 2018, where he was loaned the season before last to Derby County in the third division.
The player expressed his happiness in joining Newcastle before the start of the new season in the English Premier League, stressing that it is a great opportunity through which he looks forward to presenting his best and proving his ability to add value to the team.
Newcastle will begin their Premier League campaign for the new season (2024-2025) against Southampton on August 17, after finishing seventh in the last edition of the competition.
