The 11th Gulf Quality Conference, organized by the Gulf Center for Consultation and Quality in cooperation with the Qatar Chamber, will be held next Wednesday, with the slogan “Quality and Innovation.”
Mr. Ali Busherbak Al-Mansouri, Acting Director General of the Qatar Chamber, said during a press conference held today: “The Chamber is keen to support conferences that contribute to enhancing economic development, and it supports the success of this conference, which is a vital platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge between various sectors and specialists, not just… Not only at the level of the Arab Gulf states, but also at the global level.”
He noted that the conference focuses on the issue of quality, which has become an urgent necessity in a rapidly changing world, especially in light of the increasing economic challenges and accelerating global requirements. He pointed out that quality is considered the cornerstone that guarantees the success and sustainability of companies, while innovation is the main engine for achieving excellence and sustainable growth.
Al Mansouri stressed that the private sector’s commitment to quality and sustainability standards represents the basic foundation for achieving sustainable economic development and stimulating innovation in various fields, highlighting that the conference is a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of adopting quality standards in all aspects of business, especially increasing efficiency and productivity, ensuring business continuity and achieving competitiveness.
For his part, Mr. Mohammed Saleh Al Kuwari, President of the Gulf Center for Consultation and Quality, expressed his thanks to Qatar Chamber for cooperating with the Center in organizing this important conference, noting that it is being held under the slogan “Quality and Innovation” and that it coincides with International Quality Day.
Al Kuwari said: “The conference focuses on four main axes: applying international quality systems, applying the event sustainability standard, the business continuity system in achieving sustainable development, and applying the innovation management system as a means to enable ministries and companies to achieve a qualitative leap in their level of performance.”
He explained that the conference will address working papers on the application of the Event Sustainability Standard (ISO:20121:2024) and the Business Continuity System (ISO:22301:2019) in achieving sustainable development, and the application of the Innovation System (ISO:56002:2019) as a means to enable ministries and companies to achieve A qualitative leap in its level of performance, pointing out that the conference will also present the most important government quality and excellence awards in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and their role. What is sought is to bring about a qualitative leap to overcome the challenges of administrative development and achieve sustainability of the achievements that have been achieved.
The head of the Gulf Center for Consulting and Quality stated that the conference will discuss the role of quality and excellence awards in improving the level of performance in the public and private sectors, the role of the business continuity system in achieving sustainable development, the methodology of risk management and reducing its negative effects, and the role of the event sustainability system in caring for society and the environment and preserving assets to ensure Continuous implementation of events with perfection, and the role of the quality system as an effective means of managing and achieving innovation.
