Today, the Asian Football Confederation launched the eighth edition of the Knowledge Exchange Program, at its headquarters in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
The participants in this edition, who represent the Myanmar and Nepal Football Associations, will undergo a comprehensive educational experience during the period from 2 to 19 October in the AFC Referees’ Department.
The knowledge exchange program builds on the legacy of the AFC Internship Programme, a capacity building initiative that enabled representatives of the AFC National Associations to hone their skills in order to become future leaders of Asian football.
Over the past seven editions, the knowledge exchange program has provided participants from all five regions of the AFC with the knowledge and tools needed to enhance overall football management on the continent, underscoring the AFC’s ambitions to maintain its position as a leading continental confederation.
It is noteworthy that the knowledge exchange program is open to all employees of the regional national associations that are members of the Asian Football Confederation. Moreover, graduates of the AFC Excellence Academy who graduated with distinction will also have the opportunity to participate in the program.
