The Ministry of Transport held a training workshop on the Road Entrances and Exits Management Guide in the State of Qatar, with the participation of a large number of government agencies, authorities and strategic partners. The training workshop presented a general summary of the guide and its components, including standards, policies, regulations and procedures for issuing permits for entrances and exits.
The main objective of the project is to update the Qatar Highway Design Manual (QHDM) to meet the requirements of managing entrances and exits on roads and for existing and future plots.
The guide will provide a comprehensive framework for managing these entrances and exits to allow government agencies to provide appropriate, safe and efficient entrances and exits in the road network system and land development projects, including redevelopment. The project also aims to develop policies, regulations and procedures for issuing permits for entrances and exits.
