United Development Company (UDC), the master developer of The Pearl and Gewan Islands, has announced its sponsorship of the Blue Circle Club, a series of fun and inclusive activities for children with autism and their families, organised by the Autism Families Platform at The Pearl.
The event kicked off at 29 La Croisette in Porto Arabia and will run until August 31, every Saturday and Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm. A total of 30 families and 100 participants have registered for the event.
The Blue Circle Club offers an enriching and diverse programme designed to meet the unique needs and interests of children with autism, allowing them to enjoy a range of activities with their families. Each session revolves around themes such as the zoo, space, movie night and more, providing a variety of activities that aim to promote creativity, sensory exploration and social interaction.
The schedule also includes arts and crafts workshops, sensory activities and more events presented by Magic Village and Cosette. These workshops ensure that every day is filled with fun and learning opportunities. The Blue Circle Club aims to create a supportive and welcoming environment where families can connect, share experiences and create lasting memories.
This partnership with the Autism Parents Platform to sponsor the Blue Circle Club reflects UDC’s support for initiatives that promote inclusion, diversity and community engagement. This initiative is in line with UDC’s long-standing collaboration with the Autism Parents Platform, where they have previously partnered to host several community awareness events for children with autism and their families with the aim of promoting integration within the community in Qatar and on The Pearl Island.
