The General Assembly of the Arab Federation for Military Sports, in its 39th meeting, currently held in Qatar under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman bin Hassan Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, brought the election of Brigadier General Dr. Youssef Dasmal Al -Kuwari as President of the Federation for a second session that extends to 2028.
The meeting was chaired by Brigadier General Dr. Youssef Dasmal Al -Kuwari, President of the Arab and Qatari Federation for Military Sports, and with the participation of 19 members of the Arab Federation for Military Sports.
The meeting of the General Assembly at the Sheraton Doha Hotel witnessed the holding of the Federation Presidency elections and the membership of the executive office of the 2025-2028 session, in addition to discussing the topics on the agenda, and the plan of Arab military championships and events for the period from 2025-2028. The meeting was attended by Major General Staff of the Harb of Muhammad Azazi Al-Asal, who was also re-elected yesterday as Vice President The Union, Director of the Military Administration at the League of Arab States, His Excellency Counselor Mohamed Al -Amin Al -Dah, official of the Military Sports Department at the League of Arab States, representatives of the member states of the Arab Federation of Military Sports, and a number of officers in the Qatari Armed Forces. The General Assembly also elected members of the Board of Directors of the new federation and included both, Colonel Atef Shaher Al -Amro from (Jordan), Brigadier Abdel -Raouf Al -Muqaddam (Tunisia), Brigadier Jabu Amah Mohamed Abdel Haq (Algeria) and Brigadier Technician Ali bin Ibrahim Al -Sheikhi (Saudi Arabia), Brigadier Osama Hassan Sheikh Hamed (Syria), Brigadier General Khaled Nasser Sarb (Kuwait) Al -Nasser Hussein Ali Aoun (Libya), and Brigadier Al -Mu’ti Mochan (Morocco).
