Engineer Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Obaidly, Chairman of the General Authority for Real Estate Regulatory “Aqarat”, met separately with Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, CEO of the General Real Estate Authority in Saudi Arabia, and Engineer Louay bin Mohammed Al-Nahedh, CEO of the Saudi Real Estate Development Fund, during his current visit to the city of Riyadh.
The Authority stated that the two meetings discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and activate the memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides, in addition to opportunities to develop the partnership and exchange experiences in the fields of real estate regulation and development, and review best practices related to real estate governance, digital transformation, and developing real estate systems and legislation.
Cooperation in the fields of financing and real estate development and the most prominent initiatives and experiences in support of the real estate sector were also reviewed, which contributes to raising the efficiency of the real estate system and keeping pace with the rapid growth witnessed by the sector in the two countries.
These meetings come within the framework of efforts to enhance integration and cooperation in the real estate sector between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
