Gold prices rose today, after approaching its lowest level in a week earlier in the session.
Gold increased in spot transactions by 0.8 percent, recording $4,107.69 per ounce.
US gold futures for August delivery also rose by 0.9 percent, reaching $4,117.30.
As for other precious metals, silver rose in spot transactions by 1.5 percent, reaching $59.14 per ounce.
The price of platinum also increased by 2.2 percent to $1,611.83, and the price of palladium rose 2.5 percent to $1,244.46.
Gold prices had fallen earlier today, approaching the lowest level in a week recorded in the last session, as they fell yesterday (Wednesday) to their lowest level since the beginning of this month.
