The Gulf Cooperation Council Standardization Organization, represented by the Gulf Standardization Center for Training, signed an institutional accreditation contract with the National Center for Training Evaluation and Accreditation “Masar” affiliated with the Education and Training Evaluation Authority, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the authority’s headquarters in the city of Riyadh, in preparation for the start of the practical phase of the center’s institutional accreditation procedures.
The Gulf Standardization Organization delegation to the signing ceremony was headed by His Excellency Engineer Jabr Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Organization.
The contract was signed by the Gulf Standardization Authority, Mr. Sami Al-Baridi, Director of the Gulf Standardization Center for Training, while it was signed by the Education and Training Evaluation Authority, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khairi, CEO of the National Center for Training Evaluation and Accreditation.
This signing represents an essential step to officially begin the institutional accreditation process for the Gulf Standardization Center for Training. It also reflects the Gulf Standardization Organization’s keenness to establish a culture of quality and institutional excellence in the field of training, and to develop a sustainable Gulf training system capable of responding to renewed needs in the areas of standardization and quality, and enhancing the competitiveness of Gulf cadres and qualifying them in accordance with the best international practices and standards.
Institutional accreditation enhances the center’s position as a specialized Gulf training platform that contributes to building capabilities, exchanging knowledge and experiences, and providing quality and reliable training programs that support the goals of the Standardization Organization in developing quality infrastructure and coordinating Gulf integration in this field.
