Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) announced that it has won six prestigious awards at the “International Tele Awards 2026”, for four media campaigns presented by the company in a creative and innovative manner, in a new achievement that reflects the development of its approach to creating institutional content, and its ability to employ visual and digital communication to enhance community awareness, and highlight the role of the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram in supporting an integrated, safe and sustainable public transport system.
Within the People’s Telly category, Rail won three awards, including two silver awards for two short films that celebrated the return of the 2025 Arab Cup and the Rail Open Chess Championship, in addition to a bronze award in the general category for the Rail Open Chess Championship film, which reflects the ability of the content to reach the audience and enhance interaction with sporting and community initiatives and events.
Impact and social responsibility
The company also won three other bronze awards in the categories of social impact, social responsibility, and sustainability, for works that addressed topics with a humanitarian and societal dimension, including enhancing awareness about people with disabilities and access to public transportation services, and presenting concepts of sustainability in a simple and attractive manner that reflects Rail’s commitment to supporting the country’s trends aimed at promoting a culture of responsible and sustainable transportation.

These awards enhance Rail’s presence among the distinguished national entities in the field of corporate communication, especially after it received the “Best Communication Campaign” award for the years 2024 and 2025, respectively, from the Government Communications Office, during the two award ceremonies that were held on the sidelines of the 2025 and 2026 editions of the Government Communication Forum. The company won the 2024 award in recognition of its media campaign accompanying the 2023 Asian Cup Qatar, while it won the same award in 2025 for the “Back to School” campaign, confirming its success for two consecutive years in providing influential media campaigns with a wide positive impact.
