Al -Rayyan Volleyball Team continued its remarkable brilliance this season, after crowning the title of His Highness the Prince, raising the number of his titles this season to four, by three local titles: the league, the Qatar Cup, and the Prince Cup, in addition to the title of the West Asian Championship. With this achievement, Al -Rayyan is now drawing attention to the biggest challenge, the Asian Club Championship, in search of the fifth continental title for this season.
The team appears to be a strong candidate to compete for the title, due to its steadfast and high performance throughout the season, where it fought 28 games, during which he lost only twice against Al -Wakra in the first section of the league, and in front of Qatar Club in the second leg of the Qatar Cup.
The last coronation came in the most expensive cups to give Al Rayyan an additional moral boost, after raising his balance in the Prince’s Cup to 17 titles, to strengthen his position as the second most club winning the championship, behind the leaders of the leaders with 23 titles, then Qatar Club with four titles, and the police with a single title.
Al Rayyan’s control of the season’s championships locally and regional affirms his ability to compete Asian, especially in light of his possession of the distinguished players, and a highly efficient and expert technical and administrative device, led by Brazilian coach Sergio.
