The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has launched new electronic services for issuing and approving certificates, as part of its efforts to develop the business environment and enhance the investor experience. The new services include a certificate proving the status of the commercial registry, a certificate of extract from a commercial registry or a commercial license, a certificate proving the status of a commercial license for an establishment, a certificate of changing the trade name of a company or establishment, a certificate for auditors and accounting offices, in addition to the service of issuing a letter addressed to the Qatar Financial Markets Authority.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has provided a comprehensive establishment service for companies through the single window electronic portal, and obtaining all necessary licenses to start practicing business, where immediate approval is obtained upon completion of the application procedures.
This service allows the investor to obtain all necessary licenses to start practicing economic business, according to the legal form of the company to be established. The type of licenses and certificates varies according to the type of contract or economic activities to be practiced.
