Yesterday, the summer camp for children at Karwa Academy was launched. The camp is organized by Mowasalat (Karwa) for the second time and aims to educate children and provide them with basic knowledge about road safety concepts in a dynamic and fun way, while providing an overview of various vehicles and their components.
The two-week camp offers interactive sessions and practical activities that teach children to drive slowly and seriously, to enhance road safety through simulation by providing them with small electric cars that help them understand the experience to learn the principles of safe driving from an early age, by acquiring the skills that will shape them as responsible drivers in the future, from understanding traffic regulations to delving into the details of vehicle mechanics, providing an enjoyable and positive experience for everyone. The summer camp at Karwa Academy targets children from 5 to 8 years old, where they have been divided into several groups to receive about 20 children daily from 9 am to 2 pm for about 5 hours. A special wing has also been allocated that contains a group of diverse activities, including an electronic games station, in addition to a screen showing awareness films containing general advice and instructions and guidelines for riding the school bus safely and adhering to the instructions and etiquette of sitting, in addition to simulation vehicles and virtual reality.
Children were invited to join this trip during the summer, to instill the knowledge they need to travel responsibly on the roads, which is what Karwa Academy focuses on to pave the way for a more conscious driving culture and a safer society.
Mr. Faisal Al Nuaimi, Director of Karwa Academy, stressed that the importance of the summer camp lies in focusing on educating and teaching young people from a young age to follow traffic safety methods and instill concepts in their minds, the most important of which is avoiding run-over accidents to reduce them and also working to avoid them completely by adhering to the general advice and instructions in schools and instructions for getting on and off the school bus safely.
Al Nuaimi pointed out that participation in the camp is free of charge, noting that this year’s edition is distinguished by providing educational tools and devices used in training, which include various things, including simulation systems, virtual reality glasses, and others that attract the child’s interest and develop his mental abilities, which confirms the diversity in presenting the content, which combines lectures and entertainment.
The Director of Karwa Academy said that families can register their children through the Mowasalat “Karwa” website, and registration links are also available through the company’s social media platforms. Al Nuaimi explained that social responsibility is of particular importance to Mowasalat “Karwa”, which reflects its firm belief in the importance of effective contribution to supporting the local community and its cooperation with various relevant parties.
