“Taxes” enhances its services to facilitate the provision of tax decisions

The General Tax Authority announced the continuation of efforts to facilitate the submission of tax decisions and the continuation of its awareness initiatives through the launch of an awareness corner in “West Walk”, during the period from 20 to 26 April, daily, from 4 pm until 10 pm, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance tax awareness and provide direct support to the taxpayers.

The launch of this pillar comes within a series of awareness initiatives previously implemented by the authority in the “Plas Vandum” complex and the “Land Mark” complex, with the aim of enhancing communication with the public and providing information and tax services directly.
This corner aims to be an open interactive platform for providing basic instructions and information about tax procedures and obligations, in addition to responding to the inquiries of the taxpayers and clarifying the technical aspects related to the tax systems approved in the State of Qatar.
The General Tax Authority called on all individuals, entrepreneurs, and companies representatives to visit the corner and benefit from free guidance services, which aim to facilitate tax compliance and enhance the principles of transparency and clarity.
This initiative comes within a series of initiatives launched by the authority to bring its services closer to the public, confirming its commitment to spreading the tax culture in line with the developments of the economic system in the state. This initiative also aims to enhance effective communication with the taxpayers, and to raise the level of their tax awareness, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of a tax environment based on transparency and mutual trust.

“The mechanism of work on tax acknowledgment”
On the one hand, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, in cooperation with the General Tax Authority, organized a workshop «mechanism for working on tax declaration» yesterday, Tuesday, in the presence of a number of taxpayers

This trend comes within the framework of the authority’s keenness to facilitate tax procedures and enhance commitment, in a way that contributes to achieving the goals of the state’s financial policy and supporting economic growth.

Electronic tax portal
The tax declarations are submitted through the electronic tax portal, and the application can also be applied through the application of a tax (the service has been activated for companies that apply to the conditions for submitting the simple declaration).

In addition to the companies receiving immediate notices and alerts regarding their transactions, with the aim of reducing the expected errors when submitting new requests, as it saves time and effort in case of need to submit documents or documents required to complete previous transactions.
