The Qatar Football Association participated in the FIFA workshop, “FIFA”, to discover and develop talents, exchange knowledge and develop strategies for developing football talent hosted by the city of Brisbane in Australia.
The workshop witnessed the participation of Mr. Fahd Abdullah Thani Al -Zaraaa, Director of the Development Department of the Qatar Football Association, and the official of the FIFA / FIFA program to discover and develop talent in Qatar, as well as a group of the most prominent international lecturers.
The FIFA workshop aims to participate and exchange knowledge and experiences with member federations to improve work systems and mechanisms and give greater opportunities to discover talents and supportive development foundations, as it included many wonderful field ideas and experiences.
During the workshop program, representatives /FIFA /and those responsible for the talent development project /TDS /with participants from 13 countries representing 4 different continental federations met, where they shared the different ideas and theses that strengthened the opening of new horizons to build constructive relations.
During the workshop, the focus on the importance of continuous learning and openness to new ideas was also discussed, and the most prominent axes of the workshop were discussed, which was the discovery and development of talent, and the development of coaches, and national teams for Sunni groups.
Mr. Fahd Thani Al -Zaraaa, Director of the Development Department of the Qatar Football Association, explained that the program to discover promising talent is a priority in many countries, where specialized programs are created, to discover and develop talents, and refine them to ensure successful investment, according to deliberate plans to be the main tributary to develop a ball The foot in the future in different federations.
His statement concluded that Asian football has witnessed a clear development in recent years, whether at the level of men or women, and the future seems bright, pointing to the importance of continuing to keep pace with the latest developments to build on for future generations, and then enhance the opportunities to develop talent in a systematic scientific manner.
