The first round will be completed, the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, with a meeting that brings together Al-Arabi and the youth team.
The tournament is organized this season under a new system, where the participating teams were divided into two groups. The “first” group includes Al-Ahly, Al-Shamal, Al-Sadd, Al-Khor, Al-Arabi, and the youth team, while the “second” group includes Al-Duhail, Al-Gharafa, Al-Wakra, Qatar, and the junior national team, with the first and second from each group qualifying for the semi-finals.
The Men’s Federation Cup Handball Championship will be held during the suspension period of the general league, for international players to join the Qatari national team, which is preparing to participate in the Islamic Solidarity Games currently being held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
It is noteworthy that Al-Arabi won the Men’s Handball Federation Cup Championship last season 2024/2025, while Al-Rayyan finished runner-up, and Al-Duhail third.
